I love both the fashions, but I just wanted to know what the main differences are. Because many otome outfits have the same silhouette as lolita. I know that things like shorts and pants would be one difference, but what exactly separates lolita from otome?</p>

    To be perfectly honest, there are some casual lolita outfits that I would consider otome; the line between the two styles is a fine one. Because I’m bad at explaining things, I made this handy diagram. I hope it helps clear things up! Please don’t hesitate to ask for clarification.
